This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or submit an application form, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

1. What data we collect

When you submit an application through this website, we collect the following information:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your answers to the application form questions
  • Your chosen call date and time via Calendly
  • Device and browser data collected automatically by Meta Pixel (see section 5)
  • Cookie data from your visit to this website

We do not collect payment information on this website. No card or bank details are requested at any point in this process.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your data with any party outside of those listed above.

4. Meta Pixel and cookies

This website uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking tool provided by Meta Platforms. The Pixel collects data about your visit — including pages viewed and actions taken — and sends it to Meta to help us measure the performance of our advertising.

This means Meta may match your visit to your Facebook or Instagram account, if you have one, for the purposes of ad targeting and reporting.

You can opt out of Meta's use of this data at any time by visiting facebook.com/ads/preferences or adjusting your browser cookie settings.

Note: A cookie consent banner must appear on the landing page before the Meta Pixel fires for visitors from Ireland and the UK. This is required under GDPR and UK PECR. We use a cookie consent banner to handle this.

  • Restriction — you can ask us to stop processing your data
  • Portability — you can request your data in a portable format
  • Objection — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest

To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@curlytrades.org. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at dataprotection.ie or the ICO (UK) at ico.org.uk.

7. Data transfers outside the UK/EU

Some of the third-party services we use — including Meta, Fillout, Calendly, and Cloudflare — are based in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the UK or EU, it is protected under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the relevant data protection authority.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
